The implementing class of AbstractDesktop.

Note:

Originally, this class was used to hold the instantiation of factory classes for the various ElementEdit subclasses that are instantiated when the user wants to edit a first-class RQML element. Now that those factory classes are placed in their own facade, this class does not have much function anymore.
